I am Maxim Magirovsky, a well-known expert on migration in Russia and the founder of the international project #Eduworkinrussia. Having more than 10 years of practical experience in the field of migration legislation, I organized training for hundreds of foreign citizens in colleges in Moscow and the Moscow region. My professional competencies are confirmed by a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree.

Since 2013, I have been developing the international educational project #Eduworkinrussia.

Why is it necessary?

Many documents issued in one country and intended for use in another country must first undergo "authentication" or "legalization". Different countries require different levels of authentication.
Currently, there are two procedures for legalizing documents. A number of countries are parties to the Hague Convention, in which case it is sufficient to certify the document with an apostille to legalize it. Countries that are not parties to this Convention provide a different type of authentication of documents - along a chain.
The "apostille" stamp is a special form of authentication of issued documents for use in countries that are full parties to the 1961 Hague Convention.
